Contact UsThe Beer Fermentation Tank is a critical component in beer production lines, primarily used for both primary and secondary fermentation stages. It is designed to perform fermentation and storage functions within a single unit.
The tank consists of a cylindrical body, an upper head, and a conical bottom (commonly referred to as a cone tank). The conical bottom, with an angle of 60–90°, facilitates yeast sedimentation and preservation. The tank is equipped with cooling jackets, which are strategically placed to meet the cooling requirements of the beer fermentation process. The cylindrical section features 1–3 cooling jackets, depending on the tank size, while the conical bottom is fully jacketed. This design ensures efficient temperature control and optimal yeast management.
The fermentation tank is a sealed system capable of recovering and utilizing carbon dioxide (CO₂) during the fermentation process. It also supports CO₂ purging and can function as both a fermenter and a storage tank. To minimize heat loss, the tank is insulated with polyurethane foam, covering both the cylindrical body and the conical bottom.
